FCB-EX980P Sony's new FCB-EX series of colour block cameras are equipped with an incredibly high 26x zoom lens which has a wide/telephoto horizontal field of view, making them ideally suited for use in security domes and traffic monitoring applications. These cameras incorporate an advanced Spherical Privacy Zone Masking feature which allows the masking function to be interlocked with the camera's pan/tilt/zoom movements, regardless of the camera angle, ensuring the individual’s privacy.

Upgraded 3-D "Sperical Privacy Zone Masking" - Incorporating latest generation firmware, this FCB camera features an "advanced privacy zone masking" function for use with a pan/tilt system. The masking blocks can be interlocked to track with pan/tilt/zoom even when the camera is panning in a tilted position or circling.
New "Smart" Lens Control (Sony Modular Automatic Lens Reset Technology) - This new FCB camera incorporates SMART lens control technology which monitors lens focus position during zooming and automatically compensates for mechanical misalignment which may occur over long period of continuous usage.
Compatible Mounting Hole Positions - This new FCB 26x camera has the same mounting hole positions as the FCB-EX480B/480BP and FCB-EX48/EX48BP cameras, allowing them to be easily interchanged.
